Plants and Pets
Non-Toxic Listing
This listing contains plants that haven't been reported as having systemic effects on animals or as not having intense effects on the gastrointestinal tract. Any plant material ingested by an animal (as when cats and dogs ingest lawn grass) may produce symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, depression, or a combination of all three. These symptoms are generally mild, self-limiting, and often don't require veterinary treatment. If symptoms persist, however, immediately take your pet to the veterinarian.
Plants reported to be toxic to animals are located here: Toxic Plant Listing.
